Revel in the magnificent bird life: over 200 species have been identified. Bee eaters, rollers, Fish Eagles, weavers, louries, kingfishers of numerous varieties, green pigeons, owls, swallows and swifts, bul buls, drongos, - even parrot species are regularly seen from the poolside. Buhala is an ideal base for undertaking game drives, or for guided safaris which can be arranged either in open vehicles or minivans.
Buhala Game Lodge also hosts a cozy bar and comfortable lounge, where your hosts Sugar and Arthur, with their helpful staff, are on hand to see to your every need. The nearby country club offers a good golf course and tennis courts, not to mention the wealth of Mpumalanga attractions you can visit during your stay at Buhala: God's Window, Pilgrim's Rest, Bourke's Luck Potholes and many breathtaking waterfalls make for an easy day's round trip, while Swaziland and Mozambique's Maputo are only 2 hours drive away - you will however need your passport and visas for this.
