Honeywood Farm has been in the Moodie family since 1817 and borders the wild and wonderful Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve up against the Langeberg Mountains. It is a nature lover's paradise and offers hiking, mountain biking, birding, horse riding, and swimming in rivers and pools all in a peaceful and secure environment. It has camping, a Bush Camp and isolated cottages in the hills for those who want to break away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Woody's and Hunter's Lodge: Woody's and the Hunter's Lodge are probably host two most popular cottages. They are fully equipped so all you need to bring is your food. Woody's is a restored woodcutters' cottages dating back to a period when Swellendam and it surrounding area provided timber for buildings in Cape Town. 's is an isolated gem, as a result the tracks to them are not suitable for very low vehicles - a 4x4 is ideal but normal saloon cars reach the cottages easily in dry conditions. If necessary establishment take groups across but most prefer the challenge of the farm track.

Although there are comfortable beds and mattresses establishment ask guests to bring their own pillows and duvets. The CAMP SITE is under two enormous oaks and has an electrical point, a small fridge, a shower and flush toilet.
