Monuments and Museums: The Colesberg-Kemper Museum is one of several national monuments in Colesberg. It houses fascinating relics of the town's rich history. Among its exhibits is a collection of fossils dating back to the first reptiles which inhabited this area and a photographic display on the Karoo Nomads (donkey ‘karretjie' people). Walking tours of the district and farms are arranged.
