Molpopo Kalahari Lodge an oasis in the Kalahari Desert. The Molopo Lodge is situated 200 km north of Upington off the N14 route from Johannesburg and Namibia and close to the border of Botswana, in the heart of the mystical Kalahari and only 65 km from the internationally renowned Kgalagadi National Park formerly  the Kalahari Gemsbok Park. The main lodge is decorated with African art and curios in harmony with the surroundings and contains a beautiful 48 seater restaurant. The outside veranda runs the length of the lodge and provides a place for guests to enjoy sundowners whilst viewing the uncompromising Kalahari surroundings. In the centre of the extensive garden is a large inviting swimming pool for those long inviting summer days. The bar inside the main lodge, tells of a tradition of hundreds of hunters that have passed this way. The Molopo Kalahari Lodge features an outstanding conference boma seating in excess of 100 people with its own bar and barbecue facilities and a large dance area for evening parties and group barbecues. There are flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg to Upington. The Lodge has a private air strip on the salt pan for guests who want to fly directly to the lodge.
