Day 1 Cederberg Mountains Camp LD
We depart Cape Town heading north for the Cederberg Mountains. In winter, the hot springs at Citrusdal offer warmth, while in summer we explore the area or relax. Later we learn about the truck and camp equipment.

Day 2 Namaqualand Camp BLD
Travelling north through Namaqualand, we head for our camp on the banks of the Gariep (Orange) River. The night is spent around the campfire, getting to know one another.

Day 3 Gariep (Orange) River Camp BLD
Experience this region from a canoe or spend your time swimming, watching birds and investigating the interesting features that are unique to the Richtersveld.
Optional Activities : Orange River Canoe Adventure

Day 4 Fish River Canyon Camp BLD
Our destination today is the awesome Fish River Canyon, second largest in the world, where we will enjoy a sundowner at the edge of this imposing natural wonder.

Day 5 Namib Naukluft NP Camp BLD
Continuing on into the remote Namibian hinterland we arrive at camp in the afternoon in time for a walk down into the Sesriem Canyon. We camp for the night under the stars, surrounded by the shifting dunes.

Day 6 Sossusvlei Dunes Camp BLD
An early start welcomes the sun from the top of the dunes. After breakfast we can walk to Sossusvlei and the afternoon is spent at a beautiful spot near Solitaire.
Optional Activities: Guided Hike to Dead Vlei.

Day 7 Swakopmund Hostel BL
A dramatic drive through the arid Namib Naukluft sees us arrive at Walvis Bay where, if we are fortunate, the resident flamingo flock can be seen. Then it's on to the seaside resort-town of Swakopmund.

Day 8 Swakopmund Hostel BLD
Today is spent in pursuit of adventure and adrenalin. We may choose to do some shopping or head for the beach.
Optional Activities : Skydiving, Quadbiking and Sandboarding

Day 9 Spitzkoppe Camp BLD
Heading north we visit Africa's largest seal colony at Cape Cross en route to the mysterious Spitzkoppe, a sacred site of the San people. We can climb the boulders and rock formations and camp in the wild for the night.

Day 10/11 Etosha NP Camp BLD
Today it's off to Etosha NP and some of most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. We spend our days viewing game and nights beside floodlit waterholes.

Day 12 Rundu Camp BLD
After a morning game drive we set off for Rundu on the Kavango River. We can enjoy a sunset cruise.
Optional Activities: Kavango River Sunset Cruise

Day 13 Northern Namibia Camp BLD
We take the road less travelled and pass some interesting local sights. We have the choice of visiting the Mahango Game Park today or in the morning.

Day 14/15/16 Okavango Delta Camp BLD
We can spend the next few days exploring the channels of the Delta in mokoros, going on game walks and enjoying this unique and pristine wilderness area.
Optional Activities: Okavango Delta Excursion

Day 17 Caprivi NP Camp BLD
The Delta is left behind as we pass through the Caprivi NP, camping on the banks of the Kwando River.

Day 18 Chobe NP Camp BLD
Our camp today is on the banks of the Chobe River. The afternoon is spent on an optional boat cruise into the renowned and game abundant Chobe NP.
Optional Activities: Chobe Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Day 19 Victoria Falls Hostel BL
Arriving early at our destination of Victoria Falls, we have lunch and enough time to visit the Falls. The popular optional sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks.

Day 20 Victoria Falls Hostel B
Vic Falls is the adventure capital of Africa with many exciting alternatives. The last evening can be spent at a local restaurant, recounting our tour adventures.
Optional Activities: Rafting, Bungee, Elephant Excursion.

Day 21 Victoria Falls Hostel LD
In the morning we meet the new group members. The day is set aside to experience the many optional activities available in the Victoria Falls area.
Optional Activities: Rafting, Bungee, Elephant Excursion.

Day 22/23 Bulawayo/Matopos NP Camp BLD
Depart early morning for Bulawayo. Afternoon to explore this old British colonial town. Full day excursion to the Matopos National Park.

Day 24 Great Zimbabwe Ruins Camp BLD
Today we travel to Masvingo where we set up camp near the town. The afternoon is spent exploring the famous Great Zimbabwe Ruins.

Day 25 Bandula Camp BLD
We pass through the eastern highlands as we head for the Mocambique border. We cross and make our way to the shores of a lake where we camp near Bandula.

Day 26/27/28 Inhassoro/ Vilanculo Camp BLD
Our destinations are Inhassoro and Vilanculo. There is an opportunity to cross by dhow or speedboat to islands in the Bazaruto Archipelago where we relax 'island style'.
Optional Activities: Dhow Trip to Bazaruto

Day 29/30 Morrungulo Camp BLD
Driving through this sub-tropical paradise we reach Morrungulo to set up camp under the coconut trees, with wide, deserted beaches nearby.
Optional Activities: Snorkeling, Diving etc...

Day 31 Praia do Tofo Camp BLD
Driving south through beautiful coconut plantations, we pass through the Old European settlement of Inhambane. Explore the town before heading to Praia do Tofo.

Day 32 Xai Xai Camp BLD
Our journey further south through this amazing country leads us to Xai Xai. Here we spend our last night in Mocambique camping on yet another amazing beach.

Day 33/34 Kruger NP Camp BLD
Crossing the border we enter the world famous Kruger National Park and enjoy a late afternoon game drive. The following day will be spent game viewing.

Day 35 Blyde River Canyon Camp BLD
After a morning game it's on to the historic mining town of Pilgrims Rest and then the Blyde River Canyon where we spend our last night camping near “God's Window.”

Day 36 Johannesburg Tour Ends B
Our final day terminates in Johannesburg with a drop off at the airport or at a Lodge.

Day 1 Victoria Falls Hostel L
The day is set aside to experience the many optional activities available in the Victoria Falls area. Evening briefing and preparation for the expedition.
Optional Activities: Rafting, Bungee etc...

Day 2/3 Bulawayo/Matopos NP Camp BLD
Depart early morning for Bulawayo. Afternoon to explore this old British colonial town. Full day excursion to the Matopos National Park.

Day 4 Great Zimbabwe Ruins Camp BLD
Today we travel to Masvingo where we set up camp near the town. The afternoon is spent exploring the famous Great Zimbabwe Ruins.

Day 5 Bandula Camp BLD
We pass through the eastern highlands as we head for the Zimbabwe / Mocambique border. After crossing the border, we make our way to the shores of a lake where we camp near Bandula.

Day 6/7/8 Inhassoro/ Vilanculo Camp BLD
Today we travel through many little African villages as we head for the Mocambique coastline. Our destination is Inhassoro and Vilanculo from where we are able to explore the Islands off the coast. The busy local markets make interesting shopping and the purchase of ample seafood ensures us a magnificent feast that night. There is an opportunity to cross by dhow or speedboat to islands in the Bazaruto Archipelago where we relax 'island style', snorkelling or soaking up the sun. Overnight in a traditional setting.
Optional Activities: Bazaruto Excursion.

Day 9/10 Morrungulo Camp BLD
Driving through this sub-tropical paradise we reach Morrungulo to set up camp under the coconut trees, with wide, deserted beaches nearby. The warm waters are inviting, and so too are the options to snorkel or dive in the magnificent coral reefs.
Optional Activities: Snorkeling, Diving etc...

Day 11 Praia do Tofo Camp BLD
Driving south through beautiful coconut plantations, we pass through the Old European settlement of Inhambane haunted by the memories of the old slave trade along the coast. Explore the town before heading to Praia do Tofo where we camp in a spectacular setting.

Day 12 Xai Xai Camp BLD
Our journey further south through this amazing country leads us to Xai Xai. Here we spend our last night in Mocambique camping on yet another tropical beach.

Day 13/14 Kruger NP Camp BLD
Depart early morning for the South African border after which we enter the world famous Kruger National Park. Late afternoon game drive. The following day will be spent game viewing with a chance to see the Big Five, en route to the next campsite.

Day 15 Blyde River Canyon Camp BLD
Early morning departure to enjoy the last game sightings before we leave the Kruger Park. We journey through Mpumalanga, visiting the historic mining town of Pilgrims Rest, on our way to Blyde River Canyon where we spend our last night camping near “God's Window.”

Day 16 Johannesburg Hostel B
After breakfast we head for Johannesburg and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Day 17 Pilgrim's Rest Camp LD
Depart Johannesburg for Mpumalanga and the historic town of Pilgrims Rest, where we set up camp. Discover the fascinating history of this town, with an optional tour to view the local caves and bushman paintings and try your hand at gold panning.
Optional Activities: Gold Panning etc...

Day 18 Pilgrim's Rest Camp BLD
A full day of sightseeing including Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window. In the late afternoon we return to Pilgrim's Rest.

Day 19/20/21 Kruger NP Camp BLD
Today we enter the Kruger National Park, home to the Big Five, eager to view some of Africa's wildlife over the next three days.
Optional Activities: Night Game Drive.

Day 22 Swaziland Huts BLD
Today we leave the Kruger Park and cross the border to Swaziland. There is an opportunity during our visit to Swaziland for curio shopping as we stop off to browse through the markets. Our overnight camp is Mlilwane Game Reserve.
Optional Activities: Mountain Biking, Hiking, Horse Riding and Game Viewing.

Day 23/24 Kwa-Zulu/Natal Hostel BLD
Leaving Swaziland, we travel down through the sugar plantations of Kwazulu-Natal, home of the powerful Zulu nation. Experience their fascinating culture and the magnificent scenery of the area.
Optional Activities:: Game Viewing, Boat Cruise

Day 25/26 Golden Gate NP Camp BLD
We continue on to the Royal Natal National Park to see our first glimpse of the mighty Drakensberg escarpment. Next day at leisure for hiking, horse-riding, swimming and other activities. On our way to Lesotho, we visit the Golden Gate National Park.

Day 27 Lesotho Camp BLD
After a full day's drive we arrive in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho with its breathtaking scenery. When border formalities are completed, we head into the mountains to our rustic overnight camp.

Day 28 Lesotho Camp BLD
A full day at leisure for optional pony trekking and hiking through the steep gorges, valleys and sparkling waterfalls.
Optional Activities: Overnight Pony Trek.

Day 29 Aliwal North Camp BLD
We exit Lesotho and spend the day driving to the Aliwal North. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the natural mineral baths.

Day 30 Addo Elephant Park Camp BLD
Travel through the Great Karoo en route to Addo Elephant Park. We embark on a late afternoon game drive.

Day 31/32 Storms River Mouth Camp BLD
Continue on to the Tsitsikamma National Park, a venue of exquisite beauty. Follow the tracks along the first few kilometres of the world famous Otter Trail until you reach a magnificent waterfall where we rest and refresh in the icy pool. There is the option to dare the highest bridge bungi jump in the world at 216m.
Optional Activities: Bungee Jump.

Day 33 Wilderness Camp BLD
Our journey further down the Garden route takes us through the beautiful scenery of Nature's Valley as we make our first visit to the picturesque coastal town of Knysna. We continue down the coast to Wilderness where we spend the night camping near its long deserted beaches.

Day 34 Oudtshoorn Camp BLD
Today we travel on through to the Outeniqua Mountains as we head for Oudtshoorn. Upon arrival there, we undertake a tour of the world-renowned Cango Caves. Later in the day we have some fun as you can take a ride on an ostrich, the largest bird in the world.

Day 35 Breede River Camp BLD
Our journey takes us further down the Garden Route and towards the Breede River where we spend our last night camping. We have the opportunity to stop and lift the adrenaline levels on a bridge swing or bungi jump off the Gouritz River Bridge.
Optional Activities: Bridge Swing.

Day 36 Cape Town Tour Ends BL
After a leisurely breakfast, we set off for Cape Town enjoying the opportunity to taste some of South Africa's finest wines along the way. The journey terminates upon arrival at the Adventure Centre or the airport.
