Nyae Nyae Conservancy

Near Tsumkwe approximately 304 km from Grootfontein off C44 gravel road. Turn right off the main B8 road 55 km north of Grootfontein onto C44. After 250 km you reach Tsumkwe. The conservancy covers approximately 30 by 35 km area mainly south of the road. Access to main areas of the conservancy is by 4x4 vehicle.

Facilities:

Camping sites: Djokhoe and Makuri. Camping sites with fire places, toilets and showers. Shade from baobab trees.

Activities:

Traditional hunt with local bushmen. Local guides are available. Elephant tracking and visiting traditional villages. Traditional music and dancing.
