Mukuku Rest Camp is located directly on the banks of the Okavango River in Rundu area in northern Namibia. Mukuku Rest Camp is a hidden gem in the remote area of Mupapama and it offers self-catering chalet accommodation as well as a grassed and shaded camping sites complete with hot water showers and flush toilets.

Accommodation at Mukuku Camp

Mukuku Camp has three self-catering units, all have a seating area while some units include a balcony and/or patio. There is also a kitchen, fitted with a fridge. Bed linen is provided. Mukuku Rest Camp also boasts a year-round outdoor pool as well as on-site bar and restaurant.

Wireless Internet is offered at the reception area.

Camping: shaded grassed sites, power points, lights, barbecue area with grid table and ablutions.

Activities at Mukuku Camp

Mukuku Rest Camp offers some activities and cultural experience for guests wishing to explore surrounding  area and local culture: Boat Cruises, Cultural Dancing at the Local School, visit to a Nyemba Kraal, visit to The Full Gospel Church of Mausiwi and exploring the Okavango River in a mokoro (wato) traditional dugout boat. Advance reservation is required.

Other activities include bird watching and fishing (own fishing gear).
