Oropoko Lodge is located off the road B2, 40 km from Okahandja turn onto the road D2156 and following it for a further 18 km. The lodge offers 30 luxury double rooms in 9 individual bungalows and 3 suites with shower & bath, separate toilet, air conditioning, mini bar, private safe and international telephone lines. The big swimming pool is set in a granite rock with sun terrace. On extended game drives in the 11 000 ha private game reserve, you can observe rhinos, giraffes, antelopes and many other animals. There are rock paintings in the area. "Oropoko" is Herero word for "beautiful place between mountains".
