'Ziegies' accommodation establishment in Witvlei is very keenly inviting all bikers to come and enjoy these facilities that they took over recently. Hosts want to make it a regular biker stop over and a sought after place for you to come to - fully serving your needs (well, almost).

For those who may not have travelled this way, Witvlei lies 160kms east of Windhoek on the road to Gobabis and the Botswana border/ RSA. The road condition is generally very good and it is tarred all the way. There is beautiful scenery along the route to this Omaheke region, cattle country, but watch out for warthogs and other wild in the road please! Establishment is about 50 km beyond the famous 'padstal', which sells ice creams, cold drinks and excellent dry wors/ biltong. It's peaceful, safe and tranquil - you can laze on lawns or enjoy a village tour on a donkey cart to support local initiatives. Sleep over if you wish - hosts have tents or bring your own.

Establishment have five rooms, which are generally one double, two twins and two family rooms although the configuration on each can be changed (total occupancy is 21 excluding campers). A camping ground boasts a beautifully-built rustic ablution block with timber surrounds and thereby OPEN AIR, home-made baths (very original), including a separate 'family bathroom' in addition to the more common ladies and gents separate-only facilities, which establishment like to think of it as host 'cuddle-puddle for two'. Plus, braai facilities communal and independent, water taps and power points are available.
