Erongo Lodge Omaruru |
Accommodation: 5 double bungalows, facilities en-suite, lounge area, covered veranda.
Situated in the heart of the Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy, in the centre
of the vast Erongo Crater, lies this small intimate lodge with magnificent
views of the surrounding mountains ranges. These are home to the Hartmann's
Mountain Zebra amongst many other African game and bird species and to the
largest concentration of pre-historic rock art sites in Namibia. Whether you
explore the intriguing wilderness on guided 4x4 excursions or simply let the
tranquillity and the attentive hospitality engulf you, you will fall under the
spell of this magic place.
Activities: explore the Ekuta Cave with their rock engravings and paintings, which are
unique to the effect that they are not of bushman origin,
furthermore enjoy natures music at the singing rock.
