The Rüppell Parrot is endemic to the northwest part of
Namibia. The original farmhouse was built just prior to the First World War
(1914 - 1918). The main building has been renovated and additional rooms
erected in the same style, retaining the historic character of the farmstead.
The third generation of the Van Rensburg family now manage the farm. Farm
Rüppell offers guest accommodation of 5 en-suite rooms. Guests can enjoy a
peaceful farm atmosphere where time stands still. Farm Rüppell is a
operational farm ranching with cattle, sheep and milking goats.
There are no fixed activities these are arranged according guests personal
requirements and prevailing weather conditions.
Accommodation: Accommodation is provided in comfortable rooms with
en-suite shower and WC, with a communal dining room, veranda and an open
fireplace for your exclusive use at any time. All meals, house wines, beer and
soft drinks are included in daily rates. Farm Rüppell is provided with 220V
electricity for the convenience of those who want to make use of modern day
communication technology when needed.
