ACCOMMODATION: Guesthouse Indongo offers 1 single standard room, 1 twin
bed standard room, 2 king size double standard rooms, 1 Family Suite king size
bed, children room queen size bed both share a bathroom and 1 Executive Room
with king size bed (direct lift into the room). All rooms have direct dial
ISDN telephones (no need for incoming calls to go through switchboard), TV, DSTV, electronic locks, electronic laptop size safe, coffee making facilities,
hair dryer, fridge, filtered water bottle, bathrobe and slippers supplied. The
Family suite and Executive room also have under floor heating.
BREAKFAST: Guests can enjoy full English or Continental breakfasts at
the house, or dine from a superb selection of nearby restaurants to suit every
taste.
GUEST HOUSE AMENITIES: Free wireless Internet access in the whole
Guesthouse. Spacious and airy breakfast room, living area with fireplace and
winter garden, out door braai, 74 cm TV with DSTV and DVD surround sound
system, bar facilities with TV, DSTV and DVD player (not licensed yet), sun
deck on the first floor.
BUSINESS CENTRE / CONFERENCES: Recently renovated, this house is
equipped with all the modern conveniences and offers in-house guests the free
use of the fully equipped business centre and the boardroom for up to 15
delegates and our free wireless Internet access 24/7 makes this a haven for
the discerning business traveller. Facilities include Pentium 4 computer, web
cam, speakers, microphone, copy, scanner and printer.
SWAKOPMUND: Swakopmund, Namibia's third biggest town and also known as
the traditional "summer capital". You approach the town through the endless
expanses of the Namib Desert and through the mist come across a Bavarian
spires and elaborate Germanic architecture. The town is an eclectic mixture of
Bohemian and Bavarian, home to an intriguing mix of artists, hippies,
strait-laced descendants of German settlers, stately Herero woman in Victorian
dress, and hard bitten miners, game rangers, safari operators and fishermen.
Swakopmund offers a host of attractions, boat excursions to see dolphin and
seals, shore-based angling, sky diving, surfing or just simply lazing on the
beach.
