Namibia is a country of compelling beauty and abundant sunshine with a feeling of unconfined space. With its unspoilt landscape and large variety of game, Namibia is one of the largest countries in Africa and draws an increasing number of visitors from various parts of the globe. The May family would like to meet you at their Rest Camp Sophia Dale near the west coast of Namibia only 12 km from the romantic coastal town Swakopmund.

Rest Camp offer you two self-catering bungalows. These bungalows, called Rondavel were built, redeveloped and renovated mostly by hosts. Special attention has been paid to individuality, cosy atmosphere and usefulness. Besides of self-catering bungalows camp inclusively offer rooms with breakfast in camp's 'royal house'. There it can be chosen one room with common shower and toilet or a room with an own bath. At our Restcamp we offer camping sites and parking lots for caravans. Camp's camping sites are safe and with a lot of space located behind the farm. Big trees and sunroofs offer shade and protection from the southwester wind in the wintertime. Camp pay much attention of the sanitary facilities being clean. At present Sophia Dale offer 6 toilets and 6 showers for the camping guests. Moreover, some places are equipped with electric current and lights.
