Zum Potjie Restcamp lies 380km from Windhoek on the B1 between Otavi and Tsumeb on a 50 hectares small-holding. The guest farm offers spacious bungalows and a cozy farm atmosphere. Spend a quiet day or two with us. Whether your are looking for a Bed & Breakfast, full board or even camping, all options are available. Walking trails, bird watching, a small farm museum and a swimming pool provide relaxation and entertainment. And well-known is our cuisine: delicious traditional-style Potjiekos is cooked in a cast-iron pot with three legs on the open fire.

Zum Potjie Rest Camp offers clean, spacious bungalows, each with 2 single beds, en-suite shower and WC, table and chairs. Each bed has a mosquito net for your undisturbed sleep. And your car can be parked directly in front of your bungalow. The meals are served in the main building. Breakfast is sumptuous, with milk, cheese, butter, eggs, fruit juices and delicious jams from our farm. For dinner we have sheep, turkey, duck and chicken on the menu, as well as the "Bobotie" and traditional stews from the "potjie". Choose between Bed & Breakfast or full board. And if you bring your own tent, you can even camp on our grounds. In the rural environment of our guest farm you can go for wonderful hikes, watch our birds or relax in our crystal clear swimming pool. And, you should visit our small farm museum, where you will discover interesting facts about the farm's history.

Zum Potjie is the ideal place to stay overnight when touring to Kavango, Caprivi, Etosha National Park or Ovamboland. Day trips are also available on request. You can visit traditional villages, the Tsumeb open-air Museum as well as the Tsumeb and Grootfontein Museum, the Hoba Meteorite, the Otjikoto Lake and Dripstone cave.
